Filip Smeets joined Nel Hydrogen in February 2020 as SVP Nel Electrolyser Division.  Mr. Smeets has been in the electrolyser industry for over a decade. Prior to his current appointment at Nel Hydrogen Mr. Smeets was Managing Director at Hydrogenics in Belgium where he was responsible for all Hydrogenics’ electrolyser activities. Prior to that he held senior positions in several global industrial companies such as Cabot Corporation and Cytec Industries. Mr. Smeets holds a Master degree in Chemistry from the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
