ABESPetro (Brazilian Association of Oil and Gas Companies) is a non-profit business advocacy association established in March, 8^th 2004.  We represent the leading companies serving the Oil&Gas industry and our goal, is to “Promote the defense of the general and legitimate interests of members before the public authorities at the Federal, State and Municipal levels; Regulatory bodies; and, other entities of the Public Administration, direct or indirect, as well as to other class entities and the sector in general”. We are the main business advocacy association for specialized suppliers of goods and services in the E&P industry. Mainly everything the general public sees or knows in terms of equipment in the Oil and Gas industry is either owned and / or operated by ABESPetro member companies. Due to the dynamics of the sector and the way in which it is articulated, companies belonging to this group operate in several industrial segments and have a multiplier effect on job creation:  1 (direct) creates 10 (indirect and income effect). The income of these workers reaches almost four times the average of the national industry and 99% of this workforce is composed of Brazilians.
