Mike Cobble is a seasoned Pipeline Engineer and Project Manager, with over 25 years of hands-on experience of capital projects within the onshore pipeline construction industry. Known for his broad expertise spanning all development phases, he has held leadership roles in some of the sector’s most high-profile projects across the UK and internationally.

Mike’s work combines extensive technical knowledge with a practical approach to project management and operational delivery, covering everything from health and safety compliance to unusual geotechnical constraints. He is adept at building and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing third-party interfaces, and steering projects through challenging environments and regulatory landscapes.

Mike is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors and an active participant in several industry bodies, including the Pipeline Industries Guild. He is passionate about education, learning and skills development, and, in his role at United Infrastructure, he established a new Major Projects team with a strong focus on continued professional development and knowledge sharing.

United Infrastructure is the EPC Contractor for the landmark carbon capture pipeline project for Liverpool Bay CCS Ltd, Mike leads the team in the delivery of this critical piece of infrastructure, contributing to the UK's decarbonisation and net zero storage goals.
